RIP Glenn Frey

With a heavy heart, I write this brief piece on the passing of Eagles founding member Glenn Frey.

He died on Monday from complications arising from rheumatoid arthritis, colitis and pneumonia at the age of 67.

He co-wrote some of the Eagles’ most famous songs, including Take It Easy and Lyin’ Eyes. He also co-wrote Hotel California alongside Don Henley.

I grew up listening to the Eagles and have always loved their music. It’s another great loss to the industry. Rest in peace Glenn.
